Trick Intercooler

This inter cooler is the only single pass design we know of on the market for the Ford Lightning. It is massive compared to the stock unit and is a single pass design.  This means the water goes through the core 1 time. Where as stock replacement cores, travel 1/2 core one way, make a U turn on the end of the core and then travel back the other 1/2. Making the stock core, a dual pass design.

The stock OEM intercoolers are a 10 row, this one is 11 row or 12 row bar and plate design, giving you 10% more air flow area, plus over all better air temp control then any other cooler on the market.  

Expanding on our 11 row intercooler is our 12 row intercooler, it increases your cooling and air flow by another 9%. Less restriction, more flow = more usable power for the max effort builds. This is a MAX effort cooler, 1" Inlets ONLY. Stock mid-plate Requires HEAVY MODIFYING to use.

IN THE SECTION PLEASE CHECK WHICH MID-PLATE YOU WILL BE USING, (Stock OEM Midplate, or GAP Billet Midplate). This will help us get you the correct build and parts required for your install. 

To take full advantage of this inter cooler, a larger volume water pump is recommended.
