Add a J&L 3.0 oil separator to your 1999-2004 F-150 SVT Lightning/ 02-03 Harley engine so harmful oil vapor stays out of the supercharger. During the process of venting crankcase pressure back through your intake track, large amounts of oil can coat your intake manifold and valves. The 3.0 oil separator has a larger oil capacity than the older versions increasing the service life. This separator installs between your crankcase and intake manifold to filter out this harmful oil, making it easy to dump out when needed. This is done by using a Ford Motorcraft metal mesh PCV Pre Filter Element. The element collects the last bit of oil droplets and drains back into the tank when the engine is shut down. The multi-stage traps consist of a fine mesh stainless steel screen that traps fine oil vapors then passes through an aluminum honeycomb filter where it drains into the tank. Drain it every 2000-3000 miles and you will never come close to filling it. This black anodized oil separator mounts on the passenger side of your Lightning engine.
